FSC® Chain of Custody Certification
The FSC is a global certification system that enables specifiers to identify and purchase wood from well-managed forests. It defines ten principles of responsible forest management for a manager or owner to follow. As a benchmark, any FSC standard has to be ‘interpreted’ at the national level in order for it to be implemented within local forests in Europe and North America.
This allows peace of mind that not only can we trace the forest and tree that your label is made from but also that the paper you use has been responsibly sourced, so you are not contributing to deforestation in fact helping to stop it.

Zero to Landfill - Labels and foil
In the UK label printing has a poor environmental record due to complex nature of the wastes produced, with retail and consumer focused on the damaging environmental effects of waste, we have addressed the demand for more environmental awareness. Impacting directly on supply chain and now reinforced by industry to ensure the changes are implemented. Recognizing this, we (xpress Labels) have been working with consultants Prismm Environmental and are proud that our label waste is 100% diverted from landfill. Instead, the waste is used in the UK as a replacement for fossil fuels. Xpress Labels are members of the print industries only label waste scheme, ZeroLabels2Landfill, which is championed and sponsored exclusively by BPIF.
