Sustainable Labels, Responsibly Produced
We print sustainable labels on a wide, growing range of eco friendly materials: recycled paper labels, compostable and biodegradable labels, and stocks from renewable sources. Some are more unusual. MarbleBase is a tree-free stone paper made largely from calcium carbonate, and we can print on face materials made from agricultural waste like barley, citrus and grape. Tell us what you're working towards and we'll match the right material to the job.
FSC Certified Labels from a Certified Supply Chain
Most of our sustainable stocks are held as standard, so they're ready to run. A few specialist materials carry a longer lead time or a minimum order, so it's worth a quick word if you've something specific in mind. Our team will talk you through the options and what suits your product.
Choosing lower-impact label materials
- Less material overall. We can spec thinner face stocks and liners, so each label uses fewer raw materials without losing performance.
- More recycled content. Recycled options run across paper, polypropylene and polyethylene labels, so you can raise recycled content without changing supplier.
- Renewable materials. Certified renewable stocks now reach beyond paper to filmic labels and even adhesives.
- Responsible sourcing. Our FSC chain of custody certification means the certified paper we use is traceable to responsibly managed forests, and where your stock qualifies we can carry the FSC mark on your labels.
Where your stock is FSC certified, we can print the FSC mark on your labels on rolls, giving your customers a recognised, verifiable sign of responsible sourcing.
