A Commitment to Fair Pay and Social Responsibility.

We are thrilled to announce that Xpress Labels Limited has received accreditation from the Living Wage Foundation, a significant milestone in our journey towards fostering a supportive and ethical workplace. This accreditation signifies our dedication to ensuring that every member of our team earns a wage that meets the real cost of living, not just the government minimum.

In today’s economic climate, where the cost of living continues to rise, it is crucial for businesses to recognise the importance of fair pay. At Xpress Labels, we believe that our employees are our most valuable asset. By providing a living wage, we are not only enhancing their quality of life but also promoting a more motivated and productive workforce. This accreditation is a testament to our commitment to our employees’ well-being and reflects our core values of fairness, respect, and responsibility.

Xpress team celebration

To mark this occasion, we recently brought the Xpress team together for a celebratory event. It was an honour to have notable guests who had a significant role in our journey join us. Hannah Asquith, CEO of our long-term charity partner, Aylesbury’s Youth Concern, graced us with her presence. Alongside her were Kat Frei, Director of Youth Services at Youth Concern, and Richard Collins, CEO of CSR Accreditation. Their attendance highlighted the broader impact of our commitment to social responsibility.

The event was a wonderful opportunity for our team to come together, celebrate our achievements, and reinforce our collective dedication to ethical practices. The presence of our guests underscored the importance of our Living Wage accreditation not only to our company but also to the wider community.

More than just a badge of honour

“This accreditation is a reflection of our values and our commitment to doing right by our employees. We believe that fair pay is fundamental to a thriving workplace and community. By achieving this accreditation, we are setting a standard and leading by example in our industry,” said David Ross, Managing Director of Xpress Labels.

Our decision to become a Living Wage employer aligns with our broader corporate social responsibility goals. As a label manufacturer, we are dedicated to making a positive impact not just within our company but also in the communities we serve. Our partnership with Youth Concern is a prime example of this commitment. By supporting their mission to assist vulnerable young people, we are contributing to a brighter future for our community.

As we celebrate this achievement, we are also mindful of the work that lies ahead. Maintaining our Living Wage accreditation requires ongoing commitment and effort. We are dedicated to continuously improving our practices and ensuring that our employees feel valued and supported.
