Local Printing Company That Is Going the Extra Mile

David RossArticle, Community

We go the extra mile.

The Midnight Walk Weekend is on Saturday 22nd and Sunday, June 23rd June. Xpress Labels, an Aylesbury based label manufacturer, has 20 people who will join the ten mile walk overnight. Jack Clark, Director said recently; “We are not experienced walkers, but we are all committed to doing our part.”

The goal is for employees to raise £3,000, and this will be matched by the company. This will result in a total of at least £6,000 donated to the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity.

Supporting a community cause

The Florence Nightingale Hospital provides essential care for patients with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, across Buckinghamshire and its borders. As a local company that employs local people, Xpress Labels wants to be a positive force in our community; participating in this walk is one way to show these aspirations.

We are helping our community in every way

Besides fundraising, Xpress has also helped FNH with free labels for their Forever Flowers initiative at Waddesdon Manor by producing 850 personalised messages that were attached to each of the 850 metal flowers. Lee Lloyd, Head of Fundraising, said; “We are very grateful to have the support of a local business like Xpress Labels for our mission to ensure that hospice care is available to everyone who needs it when they need it. They help us to deliver a service that truly changes people’s lives. Thank you, Xpress Labels!”

Putting community at the heart of our organisation

For Xpress Labels, this charity walk is just the beginning, and we plan to continue to integrate ourselves and serve our community in every way possible.  Xpress Labels looks to bring growth, employment, security, and positive social impact to the whole community for years to come.
